The Micromax A34 was announced and released in August 2013. It is a dual SIM phone which works on 2G network of frequencies 900/1800MHz GSM. It is available in the market with a price tag of INR 3,552 in two color options: Black and White. It has OS v2.3.5 Gingerbread with a 1GHz processor which provides faster and efficient task performing ability to the phone. It has a capacitive touch screen(TFT) of 3.95-inch with a screen resolution of 320x480 pixels. The height, width and thickness of the phone are 121 mm, 67.2 mm and 12.25 mm respectively. The weight of the phone is 85 gms. With a Li-Ion battery of 1350 mAh it provides a standby time up-to 120 hours and talk time of about 4 hours.

The A34 has a RAM of 256MB and internal memory of 512MB which provides greater storage in the internal memory. The external memory is expandable up-to 32 GB via micro SD card. Polyphonic type of ringtones are preinstalled. It has accelerometer sensor which enhances the gaming experience of the user. The A34 also has an ambient light sensor and various other features like SNS integration, organizer, calender etc. which enhances the ability of the phone. It has a primary camera of 2MP which clicks photos of 1600x1200 pixels , available with digital zoom. It has a T9 dictionary for word prediction during typing any text, multimedia messages and e-mails can also be sent and received.
