Maxx WOW MX805 is a light weight phone that works on Mini-SIM. It is a Dual SIM device that allows you to use 2 active numbers respectively through one handset. The bar style phone was released in May, 2014 with box contents including handset, battery, charger, earphone, USB cable, user manual, warranty card.

Design and Display

The front is dominated by a 2.8 inch TFT display which exhibits a resolution of 240x320 pixels with 143 ppi pixel density and 252k colors. The average looking phone has a weight of 63.15 grams and got a length of 130.01mm, width of 55.24mm and a thickness of 14.02mm.

Memory and Camera

The expandable memory of the phone is pretty low at 16 GB but it can be expanded by using a microSD card. The device comes with 1.3 MP rear camera with digital zoom but has no flash option. The budget phone has no front camera for video calling or chatting.

Connectivity and Battery

On the connectivity side, it has Bluetooth, WAP, PC Sync and USB and supports 2G (GSM- 900/1800 MHZ) network frequency. It is equipped with a 1450mAh battery which promises a decent talk-time of 6 hours and stand-by time of 450 hours.

Multimedia and Other Features

In the terms of multimedia the device is packed with few entertaining features like image viewer, video player, video recorder, audio player, sound recorder and FM radio. Common features included in the device are alarm, calendar, world clock, calculator and torch.

Telephony and Messaging

The user can feed 300 contacts in its phonebook and can also store 100 SMS in the memory. It supports only SMS facility for the purpose of texting and messaging.
