Maxx MX463 is a very sleek mobile phone and works well as a portable media player. The alphanumeric keypad is large enough to use easily. The front face of the phone features a 2.0 inch TFT display that shows images at a decent resolution. This screen can support up to 262000 colors. It is a lightweight phone, weighing only 73 grams. The outer shell of the phone is built with a metallic finish.
The layout of the menus and settings is easy to use, whether you want to use the MP3 player, radio player, internet or phone. Navigating is done using the large thumb pad in the center of the phone. The screen is large enough to see all of the entries and text being displayed.
Send text messages using SMS and email using the phones email program.
The included video player is able to play 3GP, MP4, or AVI format videos.
The media player built into this phone includes an FM radio and can play MP3 music files. There is a 3.5 millimetre standard headphone jack on the phone for connecting headphones or the hands free headset.
This digital camera provided is a no frills camera capable of capturing both video and images. The camera captures images at 1.3 megapixels.

The included battery has an average life and has a talk time of 2.5 to 3 hours of use and a stand by time of up to 300 hours.
