Maxx MSD7 MX9i is a basic feature phone with dual SIM capabilities, announced in July, 2014. It comes in a pack with a charger, battery, earphone, USB cable, user manual and warranty card. The phone is discussed in detail below.

Design and Display

The Maxx MSD7 MX9i is a bar shaped device which is easy to use and handle. The front panel of phone bears a TFT display of 2.4-inches which provides a resolution of 240x320 pixels and an alphanumeric keypad. It also features physical buttons which works efficiently and smoothly.

Memory

The phone has the capability to store a list of 500 contacts to its phonebook memory. One can also store a counted number of 200 SMS to the device. User can also expand the external memory to another 8 GB with the help of a micro SD card.

Telephony and Messaging

This dual SIM smartphone works efficiently with GSM 900/1800 MHz frequencies. For messaging, the phone is featured with SMS only along with T9 dictionary which facilitates typing.

Camera

The Maxx MSD7 MX9i has a primary camera of 0.3 MP which is featured with a digital zoom and provides a photo resolution of 640x480 pixels. There is no secondary camera is available for video calling purpose.

Multimedia

The phone is featured with music player for the entertainment of the users. The FM radio is also there which gives uninterrupted and better signals. The user can watch favorite movies and videos with the help of an inbuilt video player.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity options includes Bluetooth, USB port, GPRS and hands-free connectivity. It is fueled by a removable Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery to ensure a talk-time up to 4.5 hours and standby time up to 450 hours.
