Maxx MSD7 MT351 is a feature phone announced by the company in Aug, 2013. Maxx is the only mobile company in India to have its own manufacturing set up for accessories. It is headquartered in Haridwar, U.P. It comes in a pack with a handset, battery, charger, earphone, USB cable, user manual, warranty card.

Design and Display

It is a pocket friendly feature phone and comes in the ar form. It has a height of 123 mm, width of 62.25mm and thickness is of 12.05 mm. It weighs around 105.4 gm. The front panel is dominated by a 3.5-inch HVGA touch screen with a 320x480 pixels. The display supports 262K colors.

Hardware and Software

It has an inbuilt memory of 128 MB which is very low and 64 MB of RAM. But, positive point of the phone is this we can further expand internal memory up to 8 GB with the help of microSD card. It runs on Proprietary Operating System which is designed for basic phones.

Telephony and Messaging

This is a dual SIM phone and it operates on 2G (GSM 900/1800 MHz) network frequencies. It can store only 1000  number of contacts and 500 SMS's. SMS, MMS are the messaging facilities available for the device. Other call facilities provided by the phone are auto call record, speed dial, auto redial, Call time minute reminder, SMS on call reject, call blacklist. It also features predictive text input and T9 dictionary.

Camera

It is equipped with 2 MP primary camera with camera effects and flash and provides the image resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. The camera did not excel either in still or video mode. There is no any secondary camera added on the back panel for video calling.

Multimedia

There are lots of multimedia options in the phone such as image viewer, video player, camera, video recorder, sound recorder, music player, king movie player. It also supports wireless FM which is a good point. It supports  audio formats like MP3, AAC, WAV as well as video formats like 3GP, AVI(Rec.), MP4 , KMV.

Connectivity and Battery

The networking and connectivity options in the phone includes Bluetooth, WAP/GPRS, MODEM, USB etc. It is powered by 1200 mAh battery which offers a talk-time up to 4.5 hrs and stand by time up to 400 hrs.
