Maxx is one of the leading Indian mobile manufacturing company. Its Maxx ARC MX2405i is the newly launched basic featured phone that is available in various color options.

Design and Display

Arc MX2405i has a simple, compact and light weight body designed in a bar shape. It has a 2.4 inches TFT screen that provides a resolution of 240x320 pixels. Below it, there is a D-pad and an alphanumeric keypad which has well spaced keys for typing.

Software and Memory

It operates on Proprietary Operating System and supports multiple languages. It is limited in terms of storage, as it can store 300 SMS, 100 MMS and 500 contacts in its phonebook memory. However, this can be expanded up to 8 GB with the help of a microSD card.

Telephony and Messaging

The handset runs on 2G 900 / 1800 MHz frequencies and comes with the dual SIM facility and dual stand-by support. This means you can use two network connections at the same time. For messaging, it facilitates SMS and MMS. For calling, it features auto call recording, speed dial, auto redial, call time minute reminder, SMS on call reject and call blacklist.

Multimedia

To meet the entertainment needs, there is a 0.3 MP rear camera that can take pictures at a resolution of 640x480 pixels. There is an in-built music player and FM radio for the listening pleasure. Other than this, there is a video player, video recorder, image viewer, image and video editor, voice recorder and embedded games.

Connectivity and Battery

On the connectivity part, the device is WAP and GPRS enabled. Also you can share files among devices with its Bluetooth and USB support. To keep the tasks going for longer durations, the company has affixed a Li-ion battery of 1000 mAh which claims a stand-by time of up to 450 hours and talktime of 4.5 hours.
