2015 is a big year for smartwatch lovers and that's thanks mainly to the Apple Watch that will be finally released in April 2015. On the other hand, LG is ready to give tough competition to other well established brands by introducing stylish smartwatch known as LG Watch Urbane. The LG Watch Urbane is announced in MCW event held in Barcelona, Spain on 2 March, 2015. While its name suggests that it is just a 4G capable version of the smartwatch which is in fact totally a different product. Let's have a closer look on its features.

LG Watch Urbane LTE features a P-OLED round capacitive touchscreen of 1.3-inches which provides display resolution of 320x320 pixels giving it a pixel density of 245ppi. There are multiple sensors on board including gyro, accelerometer, proximity, barometer, heart rate, barometer for the convenience of users. It is rated IP67 certification for dust and water resistant. The LG Watch Urbane LTE Operates on the WebOS platform obtained by LG a few years ago. The smartwatch has its own LTE connection and can run apps that sync to cloud services without any help of mediator device.

At just 45.5 x 52.2 x 10.9 mm dimensions it has a less thickness than the LG G Watch R. 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB of RAM made it a powerful little device in it's line-up. Packed in a 4GB of internal memory it can stores more amount of data but, there is no memory slot for memory expansion.

The battery capacity is 700mAh and you will need to pop it into a dock of charging. Other features includes it supports NFC that can work with wireless payments. A heart rate on the back of watch is help you to keep healthy and fit. This smartwatch comes pre-loaded with lots of apps such as LG Health, which let you monitor your physical activities, a music app which plays tracks of your choice. All the smartphone apps are also there in the this smartwatch like a calendar, contacts list, alarm clock, voice recorder, photo gallery, email client, etc. The watch will be available in Gold and Silver finish. Expected price for this watch is around Rs. 28830.
