Mid-Range Dual SIM Smartphone With Impressive Design and Features
By Priyanka SainiLG Leon is one of the mid-range smartphone announced by LG in the 2015 MWC held in Barcelona. It comes with a very impressing design and features. The LG logo on the dual White and Black bottom bezel looks amazing. It is available in 3G and 4G variants. The 3G model comes in plastic back whereas the 4G model have metallic Black color. The brief description of its specification is discussed below:
Display and Design
The front of the phone features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which has a display resolution of 480x854 pixels. It ensures a true life clarity with 16M colors depth and 218 ppi pixel density. Measurement wise, it has a height of 129.9 mm, width of 64.9 mm, thickness of 10.9 mm and it weighs around 140 grams. It is built with accelerometer, compass and proximity sensors.
Processor and OS
It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Cortex-A7 Qualcomm MSM8926 Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB RAM. Together it handle all the operations and provide smooth app performance to its users. The operating system version offered in this phone is an Android 5.0 Lollipop which is a latest version and provides improved design to the device.
Camera and Memory
In the terms of camera, there are two variants in 'LG Leon'5 MP and 8 MP rear camera along with a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. The other camera features included in the phone are LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus and face detection that will double your fun while clicking pictures. Storage wise, it comes loaded with an internal memory of 8 GB which can be further expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.
Connectivity and Battery
It offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS and microUSB v2.0 as its connectivity features. For the backup, it depends upon non-removable Li-ion 1900 mAh battery.

The LG Leon comes in two color options like White, Black, Grey and Golden. In India, it is expected to be priced around INR. 11990 approximately.
