A Low Budget Device From LG

LG L600v was a thick clamshell based phone launched in October, 2006. But now it is not available in market as the company has stopped the sale of this product. It was a low budget device from LG. It worked on 2G (GSM 900 /1800 / 1900) and 3G (UMTS 2100) network frequencies.

Display and Dimensions

It flashes a 2.0- inch TFT display with 176x220 pixels, packed with 141 pixels per inch. Talking about its dimensions, it weighs around 98 grams and comes with a length of 93.7mm, a width of 49mm and a thickness of 18.8mm.

Camera and Storage

The compact device supports a 1.3MP shooter at its back which is quite poor in order to capture precious moments. The picture resolution offered by the camera is 1280x1024 pixels. But the phone is not provided with a front facing camera for video calls and self portraits. The inbuilt memory is 12MB and the user can store 1000 entries in its phonebook. The call records includes 100 dialed, 100 received and 100 missed calls. It also had a memory card slot.

Connectivity and Battery

For connectivity purpose, it had limited options such as GPRS and bluetooth v1.2 and does not support other attributes like GPS, EDGE, Wi-Fi etc. It was fueled by a Li-Ion 800 mAh battery which ensures to deliver a talk-time upto 4 hours as well as 280 hours of stand-by time. For the purpose of messaging, it come with a facility of SMS, MMS and Email for the sharing and receiving of texts and mails around the world.

Entertainment and Other Features

As far as multimedia department is concerned, it had MP3 player which supports AAC format and loudspeaker and lacks other features like FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack etc. Other features comprises a organiser, voice memo and WAP 2.0/xHTML browser.
