It has become the fourth largest company of South Korea. LG L40 Dual D170 is a GSM Dual SIM smartphone that has been just announced in March 2014 in India.

This is a super fine smart phone with super stylish metallic finished looks and a  3.5 inche true IPS display which gives life like color expressions. This smartphone is backed with a 1.2Ghz Dual core processor, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chip set as its hardware and Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS as its Software, both of which ensures reliability and faster accessibility of everything. It is a touch screen smart phone with the multi touch facility, and its 3.5 inch TFT display have 320x480 pixels resolution which lets you feel big even on the compact screen. It has an internal memory of about 4 GB which is expandable up to 32 GB. It is a very compact handset to handle because of its unique dimensions as 109.4mm height, 59mm width and 11.9mm thickness. It has been smartly powered by 1540 mAh of battery backup. 

It has certain special features which makes it an interesting handset like Knock Code, which allows users to awaken their smart phone by double tapping along with providing security by keeping unauthorized people away and let users use the Knock On feature as well, Guest Mode which lets other users to to see and access only certain things in the phone, QMemo, Capture Plus which lets the user to use the camera app even in the sleeping mode by just clicking the volume button, Fast Snapshot Plus which allows the user to save an entire webpage with the full view for later use, rather than just a limited sized screen shot. Easy Home providing the user the easy view of the home screen with bigger front, icons and simple UI, Wireless FM Radio with Alarm.

Being a dual SIM smart phone, it helps to keep a balance between one's office and personal life. It has 3MP front camera with 2048 x1536 pixels resolution and zoom facility. It is available in white and black colors. It supports 2G  GSM at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, 3G at HSDPA 900/2100 MHz, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB Port and has data speed of HSDPA 14.4Mbps.
