Unique Curved Display and Self Healing back

LG G Flex is the newest and first curved display Micro-SIM smartphone by South Korean company LG which will be launched for now in Korea only in November, 2013 at a price of 999,900 Korean Won. The company also indicated about releasing it in France in December via mobile carrier, Orange. Also, it is speculated to be available in US, China and Europe soon but there is no official announcement of that has been made yet. The phone has a height of 160.5mm, a width of 81.6mm and a thickness of 8.7mm(maximum) and 7.9mm(minimum) as its enormous dimensions and a weight of 177gms along with 2G, 3G and 4G frequencies. It also has a curved body and display and a self-healing coating on the back along with a curved and non-removable Li-Po 3500mAh battery developed by LG's research arm LG Chem. It has a 6-inch, Capacitive and Mulch-touch, Curved P-OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels, 16 million colors display and 245ppi pixel density.

LG G Flex is an Android v4.2.2, Jelly Bean based phablet with a Quad-core 2.26GHz Krait 400 Processor, Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 Chipset, Adreno 300 GPU, a 2GB RAM and an internal memory of 32GB. It features a 13.0MP rear camera with digital zoom, auto-focus, LED flash, geo-tagging, face detection, simultaneous HD video and image recording, HDR mode, stereo sound recording, video stabilization, playing and recording videos of 1080p@60fps and a timer that uses the rear key to show that a countdown has started. It also has a 2.1MP front camera which can play as well as record videos of 1080p@30fps and can be used for video calling. It has HTML5 browser, stereo FM Radio with RDS, GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS, supports Java via MIDP emulator, active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, DMB TV tuner and many more features.

For data and connectivity, LG G Flex has Class 12 GPRS and EDGE, WLAN feature with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot, NFC, a v4.0 Bluetooth with A2DP and LE and a v3.0 microUSB port with USB On-the-go and USB Host features. It has accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, gravity and many more sensors and has voice memo/dials/commands, organizer, document viewer/editor, photo viewer/editor, a 3.5mm jack, a loudspeaker, Dolby mobile sound enhancement and many more features. It also has a QTheater tool which gives a quick access to users of photos, videos and You Tube from the lock screen. It is available in only Korean market for now in Titan Silver shade at a Korean price that roughly corresponds to INR 55,000.
