Lenovo S650 is the latest dual SIM dual standby smartphone by Lenovo which was launched in January, 2014. It has a laser-etched, fabric-feel rear cover with a 3D-textured design and has chrome painted sides which makes it comfortable to hold and less prone to annoying scratches and fingerprints. It comes in a box with a charger, USB cable, headset, user guide and a user-replaceable Li-Po 2000mAh battery with a 2G and 3G talk time of up to 12 hours and up to 8 hours respectively. It has a height of 138mm, a width of 69.8mm and a thickness of 8.8mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 126gms and runs on 2G(GSM 900/1800/1900MHz) and 3G(HSDPA 900/2100MHz) network frequencies. It is available in Silver shade at a price of US$ 229 which roughly corresponds to INR 14000.

Lenovo S650 has a 4.7-inch, capacitive and multi-touch, IPS LCD touchscreen with a qHD resolution of 540x960 pixels, 16M color depth and 234ppi pixel density. It has a RAM of 1GB along with an internal memory of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD memory card has some useful sensors such as gravitation, light, proximity, accelerometer and compass. It is an Android v4.2, Jelly Bean OS based smartphone with a quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex A7 processor, a MediaTek 6582 chipset, a PowerVR SGX544 GPU and a lot of other features such as a 3.5mm audio jack, a loudspeaker, HTML browser, FM radio, GPS with A-GPS support, Java via MIDP emulator, active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic, an organizer, an image/video viewer and editor, a document viewer, Google maps, voice memo/dial, tethering, computer and OTA sync, voice recording, some games such as Asphalt 7, Fishing Joy and Gameloft Store, pre-loaded apps such as AccuWeather, Evernote, Lenovo Safe, Lenovo Sync, UC browser and many more.

Lenovo S650 has also got a 8.0MP rear camera with a resolution of 3264x2448 pixels, digital zoom, LED flash, auto focus, geo-tagging, touch focus, HDR, face detection, panoramic scene, multiple angle view, self-timer, intelligent smile correction and can even record high-definition videos. It also has a 0.3MP front VGA camera with digital zoom and fixed focus for video calling. For connectivity, it has a GPRS and EDGE, WLAN feature with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band and hotspot, a v3.0 Bluetooth with A2DP and HS, a v2.0 microUSB port and 3G speeds of HSDPA 21.1Mbps and HSUPA 5.76Mbps. For messaging, it has SMS, MMS, E-mail, Push E-mail, IM, RSS feeds and integrated social networking sites along with predictive text input.
