Lenovo K80 is a K series smartphone by Chinese company Lenovo announced in April, 2015. The K series includes premium and ultra-slim devices. The K80 too comes with latest camera technology, big screen, Dual SIM compatibility, Lollipop OS, two versions of RAM and inbuilt memory and many more. In addition to these amazing features, this smartphone also holds stunning look that can easily attract buyers. It falls in mid-range smartphones category and can beat many of its rival in the market. The detailed specification of this phone is below:

Display and Design

The Lenovo K80 is a premium smartphone with slim physique, it features a 5.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen at front that provides a display resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It flaunts a 16 Million color depth and 401ppi pixel density. The screen is ideal for watching videos, pictures, texts and playing games. It packs a thickness of 8.5 mm and weighs at 158 grams which means it is heavy device.

Processor and OS

It comes powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom processor under the hood for the smooth and fast functioning of the applications. It is coupled with 2 GB/ 4 GB RAM to handle all the operations. The operating system version offered in this handset is a latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Camera and Memory

For the camera lovers, the company has fitted a 13 MP camera at the back that offers LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and OIS as its features. While at the front, it is equipped with 5 MP camera for the perfect front shots. The highest picture resolution one can set for the picture is 4128x3096 pixels (main camera). Storage wise, there are two versions of internal memory available in K80 - 32 GB and 64 GB. The 32 GB variant will have 2 GB RAM and 64 GB model will support 4 GB RAM. Both the versions support expandable memory of up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

For the user connectivity, K80 offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and 2G/3G/4G network frequencies. While, it also supports Bluetooth to assist in wireless data sharing and USB cable to connect with other devices. The GPS and A-GPS service is also supported by this smartphone. Social networking applications like Facebook and Twitter are also come pre-loaded in the phone. For the backup, it packs Li-Ion 4000mAh battery under the hood.

Shades and Price

The Lenovo K80 is available in Chinese market at price of CNY 1,799 (4GB model) and CNY 1,499 (2GB model). Its estimated price according to India is INR 18,440 and INR 15,369 respectively. In the terms of shades, there will be three options Silver, Red and Black.
