XOLO X900 Review
Overview
Intel’s foray in the world of smartphones
Intel has finally announced the launch of its Android smartphones. Among them, the XOLO X900 is the most prominent. It is based on Intel’s Medfield platform and is run by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor. The design is simple and minimalistic with a smooth plastic back. Surprisingly this phone is very light. A 4 inch display screen gives crisp and vibrant content and makes viewing them easy and comfortable. One feature which stands out in the otherwise plain phone is the camera functionality. An 8 MP camera at the rear can automatically take 10 successive shots in 1 second, using its burst mode.
A 3 MP camera at the front can be used for making video calls. HD video and HDMI also support the camera’s features. The video playback is refreshingly clear using HD. Even though it does not have a dual core, the XOLO X900 loads applications fast, browses without any time lag and provides smooth swipes at the touchscreen. This smartphone is only available in a simple black colored case. Prices are still unknown to the public. Network connectivity is supported by HSPA+. This super speedy phone is a true multitasking device and will connect a wider range of people through its 3G technology.
