Lava Xolo Q900T is a Dual SIM phone which was released in May, 2014. The box comes packed with a Handset, Battery, Charger, User Manual, Ear phone, User manual and a Warranty card.
Design and Display
The Xolo Q900T is a bar shaped device which comes with a height of 133.8 mm, width of 67.6 mm and a thickness of 9.25 mm as its dimensions. The smartphone flaunts a IPS LCD capacitive display of 4.7-inches which provides a good resolution of 1280x720 pixels with a 312 ppi of pixel density and 16M of color depth.
Hardware and Software
Powering the device is a 1.5 GHz, Quad-core processor with a MediaTek MT6589 chip-set and Power VR SGX544 GPU. It runs on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and has a massive RAM of 1 GB. The phone has a internal storage of 4 GB which can be expanded to another 32 GB via micro SD card.
Telephony and Messaging
The device supports 2G (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) and 3G (HSDPA 2100 MHz) frequencies. The phonebook has a capacity to store an unlimited number of contacts. SMS (thread view), MMS, Email, Push mail and IM are some of the messaging and email facilities available for the Xolo Q900T.
Camera
The smartphone has a good rear shooter of 8MP which provides a photo resolution of 3264x2448 pixels while the front facing camera has a 2MP count. The primary camera is featured with a LED flash, auto-focus, panorama, Geo-tagging, face detection and HDR.
Connectivity and Battery
The connectivity attributes of the device includes 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v3.0 and micro USB v2.0. It also offers A-GPS connectivity which helps in navigation. The Xolo Q900T is loaded with a 1800 mAh Li-Po battery which offers a talk-time of 15 hours on 2G and 10 hours on 3G along with a stand by duration of 367 hours on 2G and 300 hours on 3G network.
Browser and Applications
The device has the HTML5 browser which is able to handle the apps, thrown on its way. It comes pre-loaded with some of the Google apps like Google search, Maps, Google Talk, Gmail, You-tube, Image viewer and editor.
