Xolo is an Indian mobile manufacturer that designs and develops smartphones. It is based in Delhi, India. The Q1000 Opus is a smartphone from Xolo which was released in December, 2013. Xolo Q1000 Opus is designed by using a bar format which makes it easy hold and grip. The device is stylish as far as looks are concerned. It has a height of 143.3mm, width of 72.9mm and a thickness of 8.95mm as its dimensions. The FWVGA display of 5.0-inches provides a resolution of 854x480 pixels and 196 ppi pixel density. It has accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensors.
Powering the Q1000 Opus is a fast quad-core 1.2 GHz processor with BCM23550 chip-set and VideoCore IV GPU. It has a massive RAM of 1GB and an internal storage of 4GB which can be increased up to 32GB with the help of a micro SD card. It runs on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
Xolo Q1000 Opus is dual SIM device with dual standby that operates on GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz and WCDMA 2100MHz frequencies. SMS, MMS, IM and email are some of the messaging facilities available for the device. Xolo Q1000 Opus has the capacity to store a limited number of contacts to the phonebook. It is also featured with predictive text input which helps in typing.
The Q1000 Opus boasts a 5 MP rear camera with BSI sensor technology and single LED flash which provides a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. Other camera features include auto-focus, touch-focus, panorama and Geo-tagging. The VGA secondary camera is also there for video calling.
Xolo Q1000 Opus is incorporated with a FM radio, music and video player for the entertainment of the users. The device supports popular audio formats which includes MP3, MIDI, WAV, 3GP, AAC, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, AAC+, EAAC+, WMA and video formats like MPEG4, H.263 and H.264. It comes pre-loaded with some of the apps like Google search, Gmail, maps, calender, you-tube, Google talk, image editor, document viewer and voice memo.
The connectivity attributes of the device includes 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth v4.0, micro USB and Wi-Fi802.11 b/g/n. The combination of A-GPS and GLONASS is there that improves the navigation. The device comes equipped with a 2000 mAh battery which delivers a talk-time up to 18 hours and stand-by time up to 700 hours on 2G network while on 3G network, it offers a talk-time up to 11 hours and stand-by time up to 526 hours.
Xolo Q1000 Opus is available in two ordinary yet stylish shades which includes the White and Black.
