Lava Iris N501 is a smartphone by Lava which was released in India on January, 2013. It is a Dual-SIM, Dual stand-by smartphone and works on 2G frequencies of GSM 900/1800 MHz and 3G frequency of HSDPA 2100 MHz. It has a Li-Po 2300mAh battery with a stand-by time of up to 620 hours and a talk time of up to 7 hours and also a microSD memory card slot of up to 32GB. It has a height of 148.5mm, a width of 79mm and a thickness of 10.5mm as its dimensions along with an internal memory of 4GB and a 512MB RAM. It is available in Black and White shades and has all the basic features such as calling, SMS, MMS, E-Mail, Push E-Mail, IM, SNS integration, tethering, OTA sync and Computer Sync.
Lava Iris N501 has a 5.0-inch, capacitive and multi-touch, TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 480x800 pixels, 16 million colors display and 187ppi pixel density. It has a v4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich Android OS, a Dual-core 1.0GHZ Processor, a MediaTek chipset and a PowerVR SGX531 GPU. For data and connectivity, it has GPRS, EDGE, WLAN feature with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS support, navigation, a WAP 2.0 or HTML browser, a bluetooth with A2DP, a v2.0 microUSB port and 3G speeds of HSDPA 7.2Mbps and HSUPA 5.76MHz. It also has a lot of attractive games too.
Lava Iris N501 has a 5.0MP primary camera with a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels, digital zoom, auto-focus and LED flash and can also play as well as record videos. It also has a 0.3MP front camera with a resolution of 640x480 pixels. It also has a couple of sensors such as accelerometer, gyro, light, proximity and compass. It has an audio player, a video player, a FM Radio with recording option, a loudspeaker and a 3.5mm jack. It is available at a price of INR 7,500.
