Lava Iris Icon is a 3G based KitKat powered smartphone which comes under the category of affordable handsets. It is a dual SIM handset announced by the company in April, 2015. It offers good camera, decent looks and mid-range hardware. Lett's take a quick look at the review of this smartphone.

Display and Dimensions

The front of the device is dominated by a 5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with HD (1280x720p) resolution and a pixel density of 294ppi. It has a color depth of 16 million. It is protected by Dragon-trail glass and looks vibrant and bright. The sunlight legibility of the device is amazing offering an excellent viewing experience in a bright sunny day even with brightness at just 30%. It is a multi-touch smartphone which has got a height of 143.4 mm, a width of 70.5 mm and a thickness of 7.7 mm. It weighs at 143.4 grams.

Processor and Operating System

The dual SIM handset comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box. It runs on a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor with the help of Mediatek MT6582 chipset, Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 2 GB RAM.

Camera and Storage

On the rear panel, it has a 13 MP auto-focus shooter with dual LED flash, Sony EXMOR BSI 2 sensor, f/2.0 aperture. It offers a resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. On the other hand at the front side, there is 5 MP camera for the purpose of video calls and selfies. It comes loaded with 16 GB internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32 GB through microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

As far as connectivity features are concerned, it comes packed with number of attributes like A-GPS, Bluetooth, GPS, USB, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi. It draws a backup from 2500 mAh battery which can work for a whole day.
