Budget Smartphone With Dual SIM Configuration
By Priyanka SainiLava has returned with the another budget smartphone in its Iris series named as 'Lava Iris Alfa L'. It is loaded with large display, quad-core processor, good camera, 1 GB RAM, latest operating system and Li-Polymer battery. It also supports dual SIM configuration which is one of biggest need of the users these days. The sales package of the phone includes battery, data cable, handset, headset, charger, user manual and warranty card.
Display and Design
The front of the phone is dominated by a 5.5-inch IPS multitouch capacitive touchscreen which offers an amazing viewing experience of the pictures, videos and games etc. It provides a screen resolution of 960x540 pixels and color depth of 16.7M. Measurement wise, it has a height of 152 mm, width of 78.9 mm, thickness of 9.35 mm and it weighs around 165 grams. The device is bit bulky and heavy, it might cause problem while holding for long hours.
Processor and OS
At the heart, it packs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, MediaTek MT6582M chipset and 1 GB RAM for handling all the basic operations of the phone efficiently. The operating system version offered in this phone is a latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Camera and Memory
For the camera lovers, it has got a 8 MP camera at the back which offers LED flash and auto-focus features to double the fun of photography. It also packs 2 MP camera at front for the selfies of normal quality. The highest picture resolution one can set for the pictures of main camera is 3264x2448 pixels. On storage front, it supports internal memory of 8 GB which can be further expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.
Connectivity and Battery
It offers 3G network, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 as its connectivity attributes. For the backup, it includes 3000mAH battery under the hood which is rated to deliver standby time of up to 12 days (single SIM only) and 3G talktime of up to 13 hours 15 minutes.

The Lava Iris Alfa L has two color options such as Metallic Grey and White. It is available to purchase at INR 8,000 approximately.
