Lava Iris 405 Plus is the latest dual SIM dual standby budget smartphone by Lava Mobiles which was launched in the fist week of January 2014. It comes in a box with a headset, a data cable, a screen guard, a charger, a silicon soft pouch and a standard Li-ion 1400mAh battery with a standby time of up to 657 hours and a 2G and 3G talk time of up to 6 hours and up to 2.5 hours respectively. It has a height of 125mm, a width of 63.3mm and a thickness of 10.6mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 120gms and runs on 2G(GSM 900/1800MHz) and 3G(UMTS 2100MHz) network frequencies. It is available in White and Black shades at a price of INR 6,999.

Lava Iris 405 Plus has a 4.0-inch, capacitive and multi-touch, LCD touchscreen with a WVGA resolution of 480x800 pixels, 16M color depth and 233ppi pixel density. It has got a RAM of 512MB along with an internal memory of 4GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD memory card. It is an Android v4.2, Jelly Bean OS based smartphone with a standard Android UI, a dual-core 1.3GHz Cortex A8 processor, a MediaTek 6572 chipset, some sensors such as accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope and gravitation and a lot of other features such as a loudspeaker, call recording, a 3.5mm audio jack, an Android and Opera browsers, FM radio with recording, an organizer, an audio and a video player with lots of supported formats, a video/image editor, a document viewer, lots of graphic intensive games, Google Play Store and many more.

Lava Iris 405 Plus has also got a 5.0MP rear camera with a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels, digital zoom, auto focus, LED flash, touch focus and geo-tagging and can even record videos of 720p@15fps. It also has a 0.3MP front VGA camera with a resolution of 640x480 pixels and digital zoom for video calling. For messaging, it includes SMS, MMS, E-mail, IM and integrated social networking sites along with predictive text input. For connectivity, it has a GPRS and EDGE, GPS with A-GPS support, a v2.0 micro USB port, a v3.0 Bluetooth with A2DP and WLAN feature with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and hotspot.
