Lava Flair P1 is the company's first entry-level smartphone from Flair series. It is a budget dual-SIM handset which is meant for first time users. It has a basic set of specifications and the presence of 3G connectivity at such an affordable price makes it a great buy if you are searching for an affordable smartphone, specifically for internet-related activities and not for multitasking and gaming. It comes in 'Black' and 'White' shades and has a price tag of INR 2,999.
The dual SIM handset arrives with a 4 inch TFT capacitive multi-touch display which carries a resolution of 800x480 pixels. It offers a pixel density of 233 ppi. It supports only accelerometer sensor. For the purpose of photography, it has a 2 MP rear camera which offers a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels along with some features like digital zoom, LED flash, geo-tagging and HDR mode. It comes powered by a 1 GHz Single core processor paired with 256 MB RAM which is quite low for multi-tasking. Storage wise, it has only 2 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
This affordable smartphone promises few connectivity features such as A-GPS, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB v2.0, Wi-Fi, EDGE and GPRS. To energize the handset, Lava has provided Li-Po 1400 mAhbattery where you can expect up to 11 hours of talktime on 2G and up to 7 hours on 3G network. It also offers up to 120 hours of standby time on 2G. You can interact with your friends through social networking sites like 'Facebook' and 'Twitter' and for messaging there are 3 options offered by the smartphone i.e. SMS, MMS and Email.
