Simple Dual SIM Touch Screen Phone

Lava Discover 128 Star is a simple touch phone released in December, 2012. The company has introduced this device with dual SIM functionality. It works on 2G (GSM 1800 / 900 MHz) network frequency. It arrives in two shades namely 'Coffee' and 'Pearl White'. It costs Rs. 1804. The compact bar shaped device supports Mini SIM. The box contents includes a battery, charger, handset, earphone, user manual and warranty card.
The phone bears a 2.8 inch QVGA TFT screen with a resolution of 240x320 pixels. For clicking pictures and capturing videos, it boasts a 1.3MP primary camera that produces a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels. The secondary camera is not provided for selfies and video calls. It has an expandable memory of upto 8GB via memory card slot. In phonebook, the user can feed 500 contacts in its list. You can also store 100 SMS in the memory.
The Discover 128 comes loaded with connectivity features such as bluetooth, GPRS and WAP. It is fueled by a Li-ion 1180 mAH battery that promises a talk-time of 5 hours as well as stand-by time of 300 hours. In order to kill free time, it boasts some multimedia features including music player supporting MP3, MIDI, AMR, WAV formats, wireless FM Radio with recording, games and loudspeaker.
Apart from connectivity attributes, the handset comes equipped with pre-loaded applications like Facebook and YouTube. There are also some basic features offered by the Videocon which comprises of a calendar, calculator and alarm clock. For the purpose of messaging, it supports only SMS service in order to share and receive texts from friends, mates and relatives.
