Karbonn Smart A50S is a Dual SIM smartphone launched by the Indian manufacturer in its home market. It comes loaded with an Android operating system, microSD card for the expandable storage and dual-core processor. It is available in both Black and White color at a very affordable price tag of Rs. 2,699.

Processor and OS

The operating system version offered in this Smartphone is Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, which is not a latest OS but it delivers sufficient speed to its users for running apps. It comes powered by a 1.2GHz Dual-core processor along with a 256MB of RAM which is not a decent configuration but considering the cost of the phone, it is acceptable.

Display and Dimensions

The Karbonn A50S comes with a 3.5-inch screen along with a display resolution of 480x320 pixels. The phone is a bit bulky with a 10.5mm thickness, 115.7 mm length and 61.8 mm width. Overall the phone is quite a handful.

Camera and Memory

For photography, the phone comes loaded with a normal 2MP primary camera which provides you pictures of acceptable quality. The highest resolution you can set for the pictures is 1600x1200 pixels. On the front panel, it includes a 0.3MP camera that provides a picture resolution of 640x480 pixels. On the storage front, it has an internal memory of 512MB and expandable memory support of up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

Connectivity features of the phone include USB port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS and EDGE. So you can surf the internet, share data and connect with other devices easily. The Karbonn A50S draws a backup from Li-Ion 1100 mAh battery.

Entertainment

For the entertainment, the phone comes equipped with a music player, games and FM Radio. User can also send SMS and Email to connect with their dear ones. Some of the other features, the phone includes are alarm clock, calculator, mute mode and calendar.
