Karbonn Smart A29 is a Dual SIM smartphone by Karbonn with SIM 1 supporting 3G network of frequency HSDPA 2100 MHz and SIM 2 supporting 2G network of frequencies GSM 900/1800 MHz. It has a Li-ion 2000mAh battery with a stand-by time of up to 400 hours and a talk time of up to 5 hours in 3G and up to 8 hours in 2G. It has a height of 137.5mm, a width of 70.8mm and a thickness of 9.9mm as its dimensions and a weight of 161gms. It also has a microSD memory card slot of up to 32GB along with an ROM of 4GB and a RAM of 512MB. It has an audio player, a video player, a FM Radio, a loudspeaker and a 3.5mm jack. It is available in Black and Pearl White shades.

Karbonn Smart A29 has a 4.7-inch, capacitive and multi-touch, QHD touchscreen with a resolution of 540x960 pixels and 16 million colors display. It has a v4.1, Jelly Bean Android OS and a Dual-core 1.2GHz Processor along with a lot of sensors such as accelerometer, light and proximity. It performs the basic function of calling, sends SMS, MMS, E-Mail and Push E-Mail and has features like IM and SNS integration. The other features includes an organizer, call conference, drawing board, alarm, document viewer, voice memo/dials, voice Recorder and many more.

Karbonn Smart A29 has a 8.0MP primary camera with a resolution of 3264x2448 pixels, digital zoom, auto-focus and LED flash and can also play as well as record videos. It also has a 2.0MP front camera with a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels and digital zoom with video playing as well as recording capability. For data and connectivity, it has GPRS, EDGE, WLAN with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with EDR, a v2.0 microUSB port, GPS with A-GPS support, HTML browser and Java via MIDP emulator. This smartphone is priced at around INR 8,200.
