Karbonn is an Indian telecommunication company which is known for its range of affordable smartphones. Karbonn Smart A12 Star is one of the rich featured smartphone by Karbonn in its smart series which is available in the market at Rs. 4,099. It comes with a KitKat operating system which ensures improved design and smooth app performance.
Display and Dimensions
The Smart A12 Star features a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen along with a display resolution of 480x800 Pixels. The measure of its length, width and thickness is 124.2mm, 64.2mm and 10.1mm respectively. The outer look of the phone is quite decent with two soft keys and one hard button at the bottom.
Processor and OS
The phone comes powered with a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor coupled with a 512MB RAM to let you do multiple things simultaneously without any delay. The operating system version offered in this phone is an Android 4.4.2 KitKat that provides improved design for the smooth functioning of apps.
Camera and Memory
For the shutterbugs, this phone brings a 5MP camera on the back that clicks a picture of 2592x1944 pixels resolution. The features like auto-focus, digital zoom and LED flash with the camera provides pictures of good quality in any condition. While on the front panel, it has got a 0.3MP camera for the selfies. To store the pictures, text messages, audios and videos, it supports an internal memory of 4GB and expandable memory up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.
