3G Based Dual SIM Smartphone With Outdated OS

Karbonn A5 is an affordable smartphone announced in July, 2013. Apart from box contents, company offers a screen guard and a free additional cover panel. It is dual SIM device with dual standby mode that runs on Android v2.3.6 (Gingerbread) OS which is an outdated version. It is powered by a 800 MHz processor and incorporated with an internal memory of 512 MB which is further expandable upto 32 GB by using microSD card where the user can move apps to the external memory and free up internal storage for better performance. It is being offered in two shades like Black and White and is priced at Rs. 5000.

It is a bar shaped device which carries a 3.5- inch TFT capacitive touchscreen which shows off a color depth of 265K along with a pixel density of 180ppi. At the front side there are 4 touch sensitive buttons, 3.5mm jack, volume button on the left, power button on top as well as USB port at the bottom. In camera department, it is equipped with 2 MP rear shooter which offers a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. The handset has no front camera for selfies and video calls. As far as internet and connectivity is concerned, it comes loaded with regular features such as 3G, Bluetooth, USB and Wi-Fi.

For the purpose of entertainment, it is being offered with features like FM, music player, video player, games and video recording. In order to send and receive messages it offer services such as SMS, MMS, Email and IM. Other features offered by the device comprises calendar, alarm clock, in-built torch and SNS integration. It is backed by standard Li-ion 1420 mAh battery which offers normal talktime as well as standby time.
