Budget Friendly Quad-Core Powered Smartphone
By AmritJivi, an Indian mobile manufacturer, launched budget friendly quad- core powered smartphone in December, 2014. The company stated that the handset is targeted to the users who can afford without comprising the features and the latest technology. It is a dual SIM (micro+mini) smartphone which comes packed with low RAM. The box contents include battery, charger and USB cable. The features and specifications are discussed below:
Display and Dimensions
It supports 4.5 inch LCD display that produces a resolution of 854x480 pixels, pixel density of 218ppi and has 16 million color support. It offers vivid and bright colors bringing videos and images to life. Dimensions wise, it has got a height of 139mm, a width of 67.5mm and a thickness of 9.9mm.
Processor and Operating System
The dual SIM smartphone is based on Android 4.4 operating system and runs a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor paired with a meagre 512 MB RAM.
Camera and Storage
The handset features an 8MP auto- focus primary camera with LED flash which is specially used for clicking pictures in low light conditions. The multi- touch smartphone also has 2MP secondary camera which is mainly used for selfies and video calls. It has 4GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card.
Battery and Connectivity
To keep it running the device has a Li-ion 2000 mAh battery. It claims to provide approximately 10 hours of talktime and 240 hours of stand- by time. On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, EDGE and GPRS.

The Jivi JSP Q56 is available in two shades i.e. Black and Blue. It is priced at Rs. 4,399.
