Intex is a mobile manufacturing company located in China. The company has announced Intex Platinum A6 in April, 2014. It has a dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support with dual standby. The phone is designed using the bar format. The box will include a Handset, Charger, Battery, USB Cable, Earphone, User Manual and Warranty Card.

Intex Platinum A6 has a screen size of 2.4-inches. It runs on Proprietary operating system. The phone has a primary camera of 1.3 MP which provides a photo resolution of 1280x1024 pixels. The camera is also featured with LED flash and a digital zoom. It has a micro SD support up to 32GB. It has got a numeric keypad and capacity for 1000 entries. The mobile has a support for 2G (GSM 900/ 1800MHz) network.

Platinum A6 has a FM radio with recording facility and a music player for the listening pleasure. The phone is also featured with a video player and video recorder. There are number of Polyphonic ring-tones available for the phone. It comes loaded with some of the games for entertainment. The connectivity attributes of the device includes USB, GPRS, Bluetooth and EDGE. It is featured with a Organizer, Calender, Clock and Alarm Clock.

The device is also featured with a T9 dictionary and predictive text input which helps in messaging. Platinum A6 has the capacity to store a long list of 500 SMS. It packs a standard Li-Ion battery to ensure a better usage time. It is available in Black color only. The poor screen resolution makes it lower in its class. The only thing which makes it an option for the consumer is FM radio.
