Intex Technologies, one of the fastest growing handsets and electronic products company announced their budget friendly 3G based smartphone in June, 2015. It is a sleek, dual SIM smartphone which the company has manufactured to satisfy the first-time buyers of smartphone and internet savvy users in Tier 2 & 3 cities of India. Available in 'Silver' and 'Black' colors, it comes with a price tag of INR 3333.

The Intex Aqua 3G Strong poses a 4 inch TFT capacitive multi-touch display that flaunts a resolution of 800x480 pixels. In order to protect the device from scratches and fingerprints, it comes coated with 'Corning Gorilla Glass 3' protection which saves the device from any kind of damage. The pixel density of the screen is 170 ppi and has a color depth of 16 million. This bar shaped multi-touch device has a height of 122.2 mm, a width of 63.3 mm and a thickness of 10.1 mm. It runs Android v4.4 (KitKat), and is backed by a 1 GHz, single core processor, further supported by Spreadtrum SC7715 chipset, Mali 400 GPU and 256 MB of RAM. It packs accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.

The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with 2 MP rear camera with digital zoom and LED flash which is able to record a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. For selfies and video calls, you can use 0.3 MP front camera which promises a resolution of 640x480 pixels. It comes loaded with 512 MB internal memory which you can further expand up to 32 GB with the help of microSD card. Intex has prepared this device with some connectivity options including 3G, A-GPS, GPS, Bluetooth, microUSB v2.0, Wi-Fi, EDGE and GPRS. It is energized by a Li-ion 1400 mAH battery with decent talktime as well as standby time. The user can use messaging services like SMS, MMS and Email which is considered as good ways of texting.
