iBall recently launched its new phone named iBall Andi 4.5 Ripple 3G. The company is availing superb features at a very decent price range of Rs 5,420 - Rs 6,017 approximately. Availability of 3G network with Dual SIM facility, at such price range is its main attraction. With such features, iBall Andi 4.5 Ripple 3G will surely give tough competition to handsets of Micromax and Lava.

Design and Display

The phone has a normal look just like any other short range smartphone. Its dimensions include a height of 136.2 mm, a width of 67.81 mm and a thickness of 10.2 mm. It weighs 143 grams. Thus the handset easily fits in one's hand. The front of the phone is featured with TFT display of 4.5 inches, that provide a resolution of 854x480 pixels. There are three touch sensitive buttons beneath the screen.

User Interface and Comfort to Use

The smartphone has been powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor and 512 MB RAM. On the storage part it has an internal memory of 4 GB and a microSD slot up to 32 GB. The phone runs on  Android v4.2.2 ( Jelly Bean ) Operating System. Although the configuration is not high end, but is satisfactory at this price range.

Camera and Image Quality

Coming on to camera specifications, it has a 5 MP rear camera with Zoom, Auto-focus and Flash facility. The rear camera provides a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. The device also avails a VGA front camera.

Connectivity Options

iBall Andi 4.5 Ripple 3G supports all standard connectivity options like Bluetooth, USB, EDGE, GPRS, 3G, Wi-Fi and Handsfree. It also features GPS with A-GPS support to help in navigation. Also the device has been equipped with a Li-ion battery of 1500 mAh which is good enough.

Verdict

Although the company is not so popular among customers, the phone is offering abundant of features at a very reasonable price. Now it is to see how much progress does the company do with the launch of this product.
