By AlkaHuawei has launched Huawei Ascend P8 flagship device in April, 2015 alongside the Huawei Ascend P8max a 6.18-inch screen smartphone, is now ready to launch a 'lite' variant of the flagship device dubbed as Huawei Ascend P8lite. Yet it is not available in India, it is available in Germany at approximately Rs. 17,250. Let's try to find out what it provides to its users:-
Design and Display
The Huawei Ascend P8lite has a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with high screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. At 294 pixels per density it supports 16 millions color. It also supports multi-touch technology. The smartphone has dimensions of 143 x 70.6 x 7.7 mm and weighing around 131 gm. It has 2 SIM card slots with dual SIM stand-by option.
Camera
The smartphone is equipped with 13 mega pixels primary camera with image resolution of 4160x3120 pixels. The front panel of this smartphone also acquired a 5 MP camera for video calling. HD videos can be record at 1080p@30fps. The primary camera comes with auto-focus, dual-LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama and HDR.
Processor and Memory
An octa-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz for better speed. It has 16 GB of inbuilt memory which can be further expanded upto 128 GB. The smartphone has 2 GB of RAM. It has been announced in two versions one with 16 GB inbuilt memory and one with 64 GB inbuilt memory. This smartphone operates on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and EmotionUI 3.1 skin on top.
Battery
The smartphone packs in a Li-Ion 2200 mAh battery for long talk time and standby time.
Connectivity
In terms of connectivity it comes with 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, A2DP, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, microUSB v2.0 options.
Shades and Price
The smartphone will be available in Black, White and Gold shades at a price tag of approximately at Rs. 17,250.
