Huawei Mulan is a high-end smartphone expected from Chinese manufacturer, Huawei. It is slated to launch in third quarter of 2014. The phone holds an attractive look and decent features, which is always a first preference of the buyers. So, it is seen as the upcoming star in the mobile market. It comes in White and Black color option.

Display and Design

Mulan inherits its designing features from Ascend P1, another device launched by Huawei in 2012. It has a 4.57-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen along with a display resolution of 1080x1920 pixels that gives a clearer view of pictures, videos and text files etc. without any stress to the eyes. The pixel density of 482ppi and 16M color depth enhance the visual quality. According to the leaked images, it has a slim body type with power button on the side. There are accelerometer, compass and proximity sensors on the phone for user comfort.

Processor and OS

The phone houses a 1.3GHz Octa-core processor along with a HiSilicon Kirin 920 chipset and Mali-T624 GPU to let you run services without much lag. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system coupled with a 3GB RAM which is more enough  to provide a needed speed to OS.

Camera and Memory

It comes loaded with a wonderful 13MP camera at back for capturing and sharing pictures as well as videos with your loved ones. The features like auto-focus, Geo-tagging, LED flash, panoramic, HDR, touch focus, face and smile detection makes your photography experience more exciting. The camera clicks at a resolution of 4160x3120 pixels and it record videos of 2160p/1080p at 30fps. On the front, it has got a 5MP camera which is the greatest feature in this class. You can also record videos from front camera. To store all the data efficiently, this phone has a 16GB internal memory which is sufficient for the large amount of data. You can also expand your storage level up to 64GB through a microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

You can surf the internet faster with 3G connectivity. It offers EDGE and GPRS for data connectivity. For wireless data sharing there is Bluetooth available on the phone along with the USB port and 3.5mm jack for PC connections. The device has got a sufficient battery for long lasting working.

Multimedia

The phone facilitates you SMS, MMS, Email, IM and Push Mail with predictive text input as the messaging facility. It supports MP3 ringtone and vibrate mode as the alert types. Other features added to the phones are active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, document viewer, calendar ad voice/dial/commands. It also comes with FM Radio, audio player for the music buff.
