Huawei has unveiled new smartphone in its Honor series known as Huawei Honor 7. The Huawei Honor 7 comes with amazing high-end features which makes it different from others. 20 MP rear camera with Phase detection auto focus, Sony IMX230 sensor and f/2.0 aperture and finger print sensor gives it a unique appearance. The Huawei Honor 7 has uni-body metal finish which is made out of aluminum alloy and is available in Silver, Gold and Dark gray shades. Let's have a detailed look on its spec.

Design and Display

Huawei Honor 7 supports all new aluminium alloy metal exterior at a very affordable range. It features 5.2-inch multi-touch In-cell touch IPS LCD display with screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. At 424 ppi pixels per density it collaborates with 16 million display colors for balanced screen brightness and color combination. It has dimensions of 143.2 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm and 157 gms in weight. Power, lock and volume keys lies on the straight sides of the phone. So, you can directly access to those functions. Unlock your phone with one touch only with its fingerprint sensor. The company has introduced a good feature into this smartphone, a convenience key on the side of the phone known as Smart Key which is useful to activate voice commands. Fingerprint scanner is installed just below the primary camera similar to Ascend Mate 7.

Camera

The smartphone is equipped with high resolution 20 MP HD primary camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lenses, phase detection AF and dual-tone LED flash. Its phase detection feature allows you to focus a object in just 0.1 second. On the other hand it supports 8 MP front camera present on the top of the phone. The front camera of this smartphone is loaded with smart features such as f/2.0 aperture, BSI Sensor, LED flash. Now you can video chat with your friends, family with its front cam without any worry because of its high end features and LED front flash.

Processor and Memory

It comes powered by company's own 64-bit Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 935 processor (4xA53 2.2GHz + 4xA53 1.5GHz) with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU. It comes with 3 GB RAM for app storage. Latest Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Emotion UI 3.1 is there for multi-tasking and lag free work. On the other hand it is available in two inbuilt memory options one is 16 GB and other is 64 GB. If you find this much memory is less than you can expand it to 128 GB using microSD card.

When it comes to the connectivity, the smartphone is loaded with NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, EDR, LE , GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS/ Beidou , GSM, WCDMA and LTE. It also supports four types of sensors including accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass.

Battery

The smartphone is packed in a non-removable Li-Po 3100 mAh with the immediate charging capability that charge the smartphone upto 50% in just half an hour and for full battery charge it takes only 1 hour.

Shades and Price

This uniquely designed all metal body smartphone is available in three color variants Gold, Silver and Grey. This smartphone is available in three variants with different prices one with 16 GB inbuilt memory single SIM variant priced at 1999 Chinese Yuan ( Rs. 20,515 / US$ 322 approx.) , Second with dual SIM at 2199 Yuan ( Rs. 22,577/ US$ 355 approx.) and 2499 Yuan ( Rs. 25,645 / US$ 403 approx.) for the 64GB dual SIM variant. This smartphone is launched in China market. There is no announcement for its availability in other countries.
