Huawei telecommunications is among the world's top ten most innovative companies which was established in 2001-02. It is located in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. The company has announced a new smartphone called the Honor 6 in June, 2014. The box contents includes a handset, headset, charger, battery, earphone, USB cable, warranty card and user manual. Design and Display

The Honor 6 is a stylish phone as far as looks are concerned. The phone requires careful deal due to its large size. It comes with a height of 139.8mm, width of 68.8mm and a thickness of 6.5mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 135 grams. The front of phone is dominated by a IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen of 5.0 inches which provides a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and a 441 ppi pixel density. It has the ability to display 16M colors and the touch of phone is optimized with Huawei Emotion UI 2.3 for smooth functioning.

Hardware and Software

The Honor 6 is powered by a super fast Octa-core processor with HiSilicon Kirin 920 chip-set and Mali-T628 MP6 GPU. It runs on the latest version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat and has a massive RAM of 3 GB. There are two options available regarding internal storage that are 16 GB and 32 GB which can be expanded further up to 64 GB with the help of a micro SD card.

Telephony and Messaging

Huawei Honor 6 operates on 2G (GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz), 3G (HSDPA 850/900/1900 /2100 MHz) and 4G (LTE 1800/2100/2600 MHz) network frequencies. The device has the capability to store a huge number of contacts in its phonebook memory. For messaging, it has SMS, MMS, IM, push mail and email facilities along with predictive text input.

Camera

The Honor 6 boasts a 13 MP rear shooter which takes 4128x3096 pixels resolution pictures. The camera features includes the dual-LED flash, auto-focus, touch focus, Geo-tagging, face detection and HDR which delivers unique and crystal clear shoots even in low light conditions. The secondary camera also has a 5 MP count which allows the users to take 2560x1920 resolution selfies along with video calling.

Multimedia

The Huawei Honor 6 comes with a Dolby Digital Plus sound system which offers you clear and crisp sound which is even better with the supplied headphones. One can record 1080p at 30fps videos on to the device. The phone comes pre-loaded with various apps for the comfort of users. Games and HD content looks very interesting on the large screen of the phone.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes of the device includes GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP and micro USB v2.0. It also features A-GPS support and GLONASS for improved navigation services. The Honor 6 comes equipped with a Li-Po 3100 mAh battery which can stay long for even one day with extensive usage.
