Huawei has just announced the launch of a quad core smartphone which is expected to be available later his year. This phone is based on a 1.5 GHz K3V2 dual core processor. From the outside it looks like a standard smartphone with an ordinary black cover. But it is on the inside that the real power lies. The Huawei Ascend D Quad is competing in the market on the basis of its powerful processor. The Android OS (version 4.0) makes navigation and browsing easy and fast. A huge 4.5 inch screen is bright and clear. Fitting a large screen in a small phone means that no space was wasted. The manufacturers also claim a power efficient battery and thus a longer battery life.
A key feature is the 8 MP camera with LED flash and smile detection. Another camera is fitted at the front for video calls. Picture quality is good, even when light are low and the fast processor will allow you to focus and shoot in seconds. What is also notable is the 1 GB RAM and an 8 GB ROM. Memory can easily be expanded up to 32 GB using microSD. If you want a phone with a strong processing core than the D Quad is the one for you.
