The HTC Wildfire is a full touch Android phone. It is a mid range Smartphone. HTC Wildfire is a Smartphone developed by the HTC Corporation. It was announced on 17 May 2010 and released in Europe in June of the same year. It is powered by a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor. It runs the Android operating system, version 2.2.
The HTC Wildfire sports a 3.2-inch (240 x 320 pixels) capacitive Touchscreen and features an optical track pad for streamlined navigation. HTC Smartphone’s follow a standard build quality protocol, despite being a budget Android phone. HTC Smartphone’s retains similar combination of soft-touch plastics, touch sensitive buttons, optical track pad, and glass capacitive Touchscreen and the slick metal highlights.
HTC Wildfire offers multi-touch support and full Flash Light. It comes preloaded with Friends Stream, which integrates your friends Facebook updates. The HTC Wildfire also supports handy reference tools like Wiki lookup, one-touch dictionary and translation. This 3G handset can support data transfer speeds up to 7.2 Mbps. CPU of HTC Wildfire is 528 MHz ARMv6. This Smartphone features a unique social phonebook, which can merge your phonebook and social networking buddies, besides being able to sync photos from Flickr and Facebook. It supports Wi-Fi and quad-band GSM connectivity and has a built-in GPS receiver and digital compass that supports turn-by-turn navigation. It has a fuss free music player that supports multiple formats (MP3, WAV) and a video player that plays MP4, H.263, H.264 & WMV9 files.
HTC Wildfire features a TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen and a 5 megapixel camera. It supports an auto focus feature, alongside a flash in case of low light scenes. This phone has been described as a Mini HTC Desire. Other key features would be the GPS navigation system and Google Maps, as well as a high-speed internet connection and a powerful processor.
