HTC One M8s is a latest smartphone from HTC kitty, announced in April, 2015. It is an upgraded version of last year launched HTC One M8 smartphone. The M8s comes with many remarkable changes under the hood to woo the masses and to beat its rivals in the market. It packs a big screen, octa-core processor, latest Lollipop operating system, wonderful camera for the photography and powerful battery. Let's have a brief look on its specs below:
Its front is dominated by a 5-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen which provides a display resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, 16M color depth and 441 ppi pixel density. It responds beautifully to multi-touch gestures and its screen is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection with HTC Sense UI 7.0. Its body packs a height of 146.4 mm, width of 70.6 mm, thickness of 9.6 mm as its dimensions and it weighs around 160 grams. The device is bit thick and heavy which make it quite uncomfortable to hold in hand for long hours.
At the heart, it packs Octa core (Quad-core 1 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A57) processor with Qualcomm MSM8939 chipset and Adreno 405 GPU. It is coupled with 2 GB RAM to handle all the basic operations of the phone. Running the device is a latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
It is equipped with 13 MP camera at the back for the wonderful camera experience. It offers Dual LED flash, auto-focus, optical image stabilization, face detection features and it is also capable of recording full HD /HD videos. On the other hand, it packs 5 MP front camera for the selfies of good quality and even it supports full HD video recording. All in all, its a perfect device for photography. On storage front, it provides 16 GB internal memory along with a microSD card support of up to 128 GB for the expandable memory.
It offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth v4.0 as its connectivity features. For the navigation of direction, it supports GPS/A-GPS and NFC service. The day long backup to the device is provided by a Li-Po non-removable 2840mAh battery.
The HTC One M8s comes in Glacial Silver, Gunmetal Gray and Amber Gold shades. It is expected to be priced between INR 25,000 to 45,000.
