HTC is a Taiwanese company which excels in manufacturing high end smartphones and tablets since 1997. It is headquartered in New Taipai City, Taiwan. The company has launched the all new HTC Desire 820s in its series. The box loads up a handset, headset, battery, charger, USB cable, user manual and a warranty card.

Design and Display

The smartphone has got an extraordinary uni-body and a stylish design with rounded edges which gives out a sleek look to the phone. It is wrapped with a plastic chassis but at the same time looks quite premium. This handset is light in weight and easily fits in your palm. The dimensions figures include a height of 157.7 mm, width of 78.7 mm and a thickness of 7.74 mm. It weighs around 155 gms. The display of this smartphone is dominated by a 5.5 inch super LCD3 screen. HTC Desire 820s has a multi-touch input method and is protected Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Considering the hardware of this phone, it is powered by Octa-Core, 1.7GHz processor coupled with MediaTek 64-bit chipset. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card. It runs on the latest version of Android 4.4 KitKat operating system to secure a snappy performance.

The HTC Desire 820s supports networks like 2G (GSM 850 / 900 /1800 / 1900 MHz), 3G (HSDPA 2100 MHz) and 4G (LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2600 MHz). This smartphone has the capacity to store unlimited number of contacts to its phonebook. For messaging, the device ensures SMS, MMS IM, email and push mail.
