Entry Level Android Smartphone With Strong Configuration
By AmritHTC Desire 326G is an entry level Android phone from HTC. This dual SIM smartphone was announced in April, 2015. It comes at an affordable price and supports a strong configuration but lacks a good display. The sales package includes a charger, headset, USB cable, user manual and warranty card. Its features and specifications are discussed below.
Display and Dimensions
It flaunts a 4.5 inch capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels leading to a pixel density of 218ppi. It throws off a color depth of 16 million. The display supports multi touch for more than 2 fingers. It is covered in a plastic body and has little metallic finish which makes it quite easy and comfortable to hold. This bar shaped handset has a thickness of 9.7 mm and a weight of 146 grams. It holds a height of 139.7 mm and a width of 69.6 mm. It supports accelerometer sensor and proximity sensor.
Processor and Operating System
It works on 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor which is paired with Spreadtrum SC7731G chipset. Further it is joined with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 1 GB RAM to deliver seamless and powerful performance while handling standard applications. It works on Android v4.4.2 (KitKat) operating system.
Camera and Storage
It comes equipped with an 8 MP rear auto-focus camera which is able to offer a resolution of 3264x2448 pixels and supports LED flash and digital zoom. On the other hand for selfies and video calls you can use 2 MP front camera form which you can expect only normal pictures not HD. You can record 720p videos through this shooter. For storage purposes, it has an internal memory of 8 GB which can be further expanded up to 32 GB through microSD card.
Connectivity and Battery
Moving to the networking and connectivity section, the user can use various options like 3G, A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, GPS, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi. It is backed by a Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery which promises a talktime of up to 20 hours and stand-by time of up to 524 hours over 2G and up to 11 hours talktime and up to 386 hours standby time over 3G network.

The HTC Desire 326G Dual SIM comes in two shades i.e Black Onyx and White Birch. It is expected to be priced around INR 8999.
