HTC Desire 300 is one of the latest smartphone released by Taiwanese company HTC in November, 2013. It has got a removable and rechargeable Li-Po 1650mAH battery with a 3G stand-by time of up to 625 hours and a 3G talk time of up to 11 hours and runs on 2G(GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and 3G(UMTS 900/2100 MHz) networks. It has a height of 131.8mm, a width of 66.2mm and a thickness of 10.1mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 120gms. It is available in White and Black shades at a price of 7,900 NTD(in Taiwan) or US$ 270.

HTC Desire 300 has got a 4.3-inch, capacitive and multi-touch, TFT LCD touchscreen with a WVGA resolution of 480x800 pixels, 217ppi pixel density and 16 million colors display with HTC Sense 5.0 user interface along with HTC BlinkFeed. It has got a RAM of 512MB and an internal memory of 4GB which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD memory card. It is an Android v4.2.2, Jelly Bean OS based smartphone with a dual-core 1.0GHz ARM Cortex-A5 processor, a Qualcomm MSM8225 Snapdragon S4 Play chipset, an Adreno 203 GPU and some great sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light, proximity, compass and magnetometer. It has also got some other features such as 3.5mm stereo audio jack, HTC music channel, a HTML5 browser, GPS with A-GPS support, Java via MIDP emulator, 25GB Dropbox storage, an organizer, document viewer, photo viewer/editor, voice memo/dials, a loudspeaker, tethering, computer, OTA sync.

HTC Desire 300 has got a 5.0MP rear camera with a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels, digital zoom, auto-focus, touch focus, F2.8 aperture, 34mm lens and geo-tagging and can play as well as record videos of 480p@30fps. It has also got a 0.3MP VGA front camera for video calling. For messaging, it has SMS, MMS, E-mail, Push E-mail, IM and integrated social networking sites along with predictive text input. For connectivity, it includes a GPRS and EDGE, WLAN feature with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi hotspot, an anptX enabled v4.0 Bluetooth with A2DP, a v2.0 micro USB port and 3G speeds of HSDPA 7.2Mbps and HSUPA 5.76Mbps.
