Affordable KitKat Based Smartphone For Everyone
By Priyanka SainiHTC started its Desire series in Year 2010 and it has launched many devices under this series. HTC Desire 612 is one of the budget smartphone launched by HTC in October, 2014. This device comes with impressive display, audio and world class engine which will amaze you. It come in a pack with headset, battery, USB cable, charger, warranty card and user manual.
Display and Design
This beautifully designed phone features a large 4.7-inch Super LCD2 touchscreen with display resolution of 960x540 pixels. It flaunts 16 Million color depth and 234ppi pixels density. Measurement wise, it comes with a length of 143.8mm, width of 70.4mm, thickness of 9.4mm and it weighs at 146 grams. The screen of this phone also hosts some sensors like proximity, ambient light sensor and accelerometer.
OS and Processor
Operating the device is an Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and it packs 1.2GHz Quad-core Cortex-A7 processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset and Adreno 305 GPU under the hood to perform multiple tasks with ease. It is paired with 1GB RAM to fulfill its duties.
Camera and Memory
HTC Desire 612 comes equipped with 8MP camera on the back with LED flash, auto-focus, geo-tagging, face detection and touch focus features. The highest resolution that one can set for the images is 3264x2448 pixels and the main camera is also capable of recording full HD videos. At the front, it has a 1.3MP camera with BSI sensor which supports HD video recording. For the storage purpose, this device supports 8GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Connectivity and Battery
The phone offers 3.5mm audio jack along with bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microUSB and DLNA as its connectivity features. While for the day long backup, it depends upon Li-polymer 2040 mAh battery which is ticking inside the phone to deliver up to 16.1 hours of talktime and 484 hours of standby time.
