HiSense Sero 8: A New Creation In The Phablet Sector

HiSense USA Corporation was established in the year 2001 and deals with the manufacturing of full range of electronics. Its HiSense Sero 8 is the new creation in the Phablet sector that is available in USA and Europe and is expected to hit the Indian shelves soon.
Design and Display
The tablet has a sleek design and a curvy style. On the front panel, you can see a large screen with no hardware keys, a not so wide black colored bezel around the screen and a camera on the top. The HiSense Sero 8 features a 8 inches IPS capacitive 5 point multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. Its dimension figures includes a height of 208.5 mm , width of 129.5 mm and thickness of 10.5 mm along with a weight of 450 grams.
Hardware and Software
Under the sleek frame, the tab has some high end hardware and software specifications. Powering the device is a 1.6 GHz Cortex A9 Quad Core processor along with the assemblance of Rockship RK 3188T chipset. On the software part, it has installed the latest Android v4.4 KitKat Operating System. Talking about the memory, it has 1 GB RAM to ensure faster processing of applications and 16 GB of flash memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
Camera
Rear and Front cameras on the tablet are good enough to take decent pictures. A 2 MP camera at the back gives clear images and a 0.3 MP front facing camera compliments it.
Entertainment
For entertainment, the tablet has installed a music player, a video player and an image viewer. The music and video player supports all the popular formats and its sound quality is also decent.
Connectivity and Battery
Connections can be made through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, headphone jack and USB. The company claims that the tablet has been fueled with a Li-ion battery of 4000 mAh which gives a standby time of up to 170 hours and continuous web surfing of about 7 hours.
Pre loaded applications
On the apps front, the tablet is armed with PlayStore, YouTube, Gooogle+, Google Search, Chrome, play music, play games, play newsstand, play movies, play books, maps, Email, Gmail, clock, calender, hangouts, movie studio, downloads, people, voice search and multi language support.
Price
The phone is expected to be available at a price of Rs 9,051 approximately (may vary).
