The Hi-Tech has announced the S250 Amaze, a Dual SIM based smartphone in October, 2013. Check out its details below.

Design and Display

The S250 Amaze is a decent looking phone with a height of 120.5 mm, width of 63.5 mm and a thickness of 11.5 mm as its dimensions. This bar shaped device is good to grip and easy to use. The smartphone has a TFT display of 3.5-inches which provides a resolution of 480x320 pixels.

Hardware and Software

It runs on the Android v2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system. The S250 Amaze is powered by a Dual-core 1GHz processor and a RAM of 256 MB. The device has an internal memory of 512 MB which can be expanded to another 32 GB via micro SD card.

Telephony and Messaging

The S250 Amaze is basically a Dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone that supports GSM 900/1800 MHz frequencies. One can store a limited number of contacts to the phonebook. SMS, MMS, Email and IM are some of the messaging and email facilities available for the device.

Camera and Music Player

The smartphone has a primary camera of 2 MP which provides a photo resolution of 1600x1200 pixels and is featured with a digital zoom. The front facing camera is of 0.3 MP which provides a resolution of 640x480 pixels. The device comes with a music player, video player, recorder and FM radio for the entertainment of users.

Connectivity, Apps and Battery

The connectivity attributes of the device includes Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, GPRS, hands-free and micro USB v2.0. It has A-GPS support in order to facilitate the navigation. It also comes pre-loaded with some of the Google apps like Google search, Google Talk, Maps, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter,  Whats app, We chat and YouTube. It comes equipped with a Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery which offers a talk-time up to 5 hours on 2G network.
