Hi-Tech Mobiles is one of the fastest growing company in the mobile manufacturing department. The company has provided several affordable smartphones and Amaze HT-808 is one of them. Its box contents includes a handset, battery, charger, headset, USB cable, user manual and warranty card.

Design and Display

This is a touchscreen phone with a curved and stylish body. Its front comprises of 3.2 inches TFT display, a hardware home button at the bottom and two soft touch buttons. The silver lining around the bezel adds to the beauty of the phone. The plain back panel, the camera and a loudspeaker grill affixed on the top gives a decent and professional look to the phone.

Telephony and Memory

The device works on the Android v2.3.6 GingerBread Operating System and operates on dual band GSM 900 / 1800 MHz frequencies. The phone supports two GSM connections  and both will remain active all the time. It houses a 512 MB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card.

Calling and Messaging

There is messaging and email facilities available for the Amaze HT-808 that keeps you connected with your near and dear ones. Besides basic features of calling, it has the auto call recorder feature which gives you the ability to record any call without letting the other person know about it.

Camera

The device supports both the cameras. There is a 2 MP camera at the back which can take pictures at the resolution of 1200x1600 pixels. The camera quality is good at normal light conditions but it would let you down in low light conditions as there is no flash support in the camera. There is also a 0.3 MP camera at the front for self clickers.

Entertainment

For the music buffs, the phone has an inbuilt audio player and a FM radio. Social networking services has also been integrated, so that you can stay in touch with your friends. User can enjoy videos on the video player. Availability of loudspeaker and 3.5 mm jack further increases the capabilities of the phone.

Connectivity and Battery

On the connectivity part, Hi-Tech HT 808 is GPRS and Wi-Fi enabled. Its Bluetooth connectivity lets you transfer data with the compatible devices. User can also use the USB support for PC synchronization. It houses a Li-ion battery of 1800 mAh which gives a decent battery backup.
