Goldvish is basically a Swiss manufacturer of high class luxury mobile phones. The brand specializes in combining high end technology with Swiss artistry. The all new Goldvish Le Million is the world's expensive mobile phone. Announced in 2006, the Le Million's diamond studded body with solid gold makes it a unique piece and is catalogued in 'Guinness Book of World Record' as the most expensive and exclusive mobile phone that is sold at one million Euros.
Talking of its appearance, it has a unique shape and an appealing look. At the same time is uncommon in the market. Designed by the most aesthetic hands of Emmanuel Gueit, the phone outshines with 18 carat Gold and on the top of this 120-carat diamonds is encrusted over it. The Gold enamel makes the handset looks more of a luxurious phone. There is only a limited production of three pieces for it. It is available in colors like Yellow, Rose, White, Gold.
On the specifications front, it flashes a display resolution of 176x220 pixels and shows off a color depth of 262 K. The handset operates on 2G (GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) network frequency. Designed using a bar format, the dimension figures include a height of 110 mm, width of 46 mm and a thickness of 17 mm. It weighs around 198 grams and is uneasy to carry and handle.
For photography, it holds a rear camera of 2 mega-pixels with digital zoom and a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. The mobile phone is charged with a battery backup of Li-ion 950 mAh that gives out a talktime of upto 6 hours and a standby time of 400 hours. On the connectivity front, it supports GPRS, EDGE, USB connectivity and Bluetooth for wireless data sharing.
On the messaging front, it supports SMS, MMS and Email for chatting and texting. For entertainment it has radio and video recorder. On the other hand it has an internal memory of 2 GB and an absence of microSD slot.
As the device is layered with 18 carats Gold, 120 carats diamond and much amount of Platinum is also used in it. That is the basic reason, the handset is regarded as the most expensive phone in the world. With a limited stock of 3 pieces, it is available with a price tag of $1.45 million.
