The Gionee Elife E8 is a camera-centered smartphone announced by Gionee in its E-series. It was launched in Beijing first and slated to release in India by August, 2015. It's a high-end smartphone of the company introduced to beat the higher brand smartphone in the market. The smartphone features are fingerprint sensor, amazing camera, big screen, octa-core processor, latest OS, stunning appearance and powerful battery. It also support dual SIM configuration. The Elife E8 comes with quite impressing design that anybody can fall in love with it. It is crafted with an aluminium frame. Its front is dominated by an edge-to-edge 6-inch Quad HD AMOLED display which supports a screen resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is ideal for watching videos, movies, pictures with more clarity. The dimension of the phone includes 164.0 mm height, 82.3 mm width, 9.6 mm thickness and it weighs around 207 grams. Its large size make it difficult to hold in one's palm comfortably. So, it requires careful handling.
It runs the latest version Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Amigo UI 3.1 which provides new design and improved platform to the users. While, it comes powered by 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 processor and PowerVR G6200 GPU. It is coupled with 3 GB RAM to handle multiple tasks with ease.
Like other sphere, it also score well in the multimedia department. It comes equipped with a 24 MP camera at back with a features like dual tone LED flash, 6P lenses, 1/2.3 sensor and OIS. The smartphone operates on 3G, 4G network frequencies. For the faster internet speed, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n and to assist in wireless data sharing it packs Bluetooth 4.0. The Gionee Elife E8 is priced in Beijing at 3999 Chinese yuan and it is expected to launch in India at INR 41,118 approximately. While users who like this smartphone can also consider Gionee's other smartphones like Gionee Elife S7 and Elife S5.5 which is comparatively less costly but offer interesting features.
