Gionee Elife E7 Mini is the slimmest smartphone by Gionee released in April 2014. This time the Gionee came up with all new features and that too at an affordable price. It was announced in December, 2013.

Design and Build Quality

Gionee Elife E7 Mini is designed with great precision and grabs the attraction of masses almost everywhere. Its large size requires careful handling while holding long conversations as it does not fit easily into one's hand. The phone does not heat even with long use. It is equipped with a non-removable 2200mAh battery which gives a 2G talktime of up to 18 hours along with 3G talktime of up to 14 hours and stand-by time of up to 200 hours.

User Interface and Comfort to use

The phone has IGZO capacitive display of 4.7-inch which provides a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by a super fast 1.7 GHz Octa-core processor along with a RAM of 1GB.  The smartphone has enough power to handle the on board applications. Elife E7 Mini is featured with an adjustment for sound and screen brightness according to the one's need and environment. The phone responds to touch signals very fast.

Telephony and Phonebook

Elife E7 Mini has a support for 2G and 3G network with the capacity to store an unlimited number of contacts. It is also featured with a voice dialing, social media integrations and contact history.

Moreover, the camera  delivers pictures of good quality in day as well as night light.

The connectivity attributes of the device includes 3G, Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, EDGE, GPRS and USB. The phone also features A-GPS which helps in navigation.

HTML5 browser of the phone responds quickly to the input. Elife E7 Mini features Document Viewer, Google Search, Maps, G-mail, Google Talk, YouTube, Calendar, Image and Video Editor.

Conclusion

The main rivals of Gionee Elife E7 Mini are Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Sony Xperia C and Micromax Canvas Turbo A250, in terms of price. Although the Chinese brands provides featured phones at an affordable price but they lack behind in terms of service provider and moreover the resale value of phones is pretty less which disappoints you. On the other hand, brands like Nokia and Samsung provides better service and the resale value of these phones is pretty good.
