The Celkon i4 is a bar touch phone made by Celkon and retailing mainly in India. This phone offers you a 3.5 inch screen to ensure that you are able to text and watch videos with ease. The screen is a 320x480 TFT screen. The large screen ensures you are able to view the pictures that you take with the camera without strain. There are complains that you are not able to see the screen very clearly in the sunshine but the view and opinions are many and varied at this point. The phone is a 2G quad-band phone that offers you the ability to use two SIM cards at the same time.

You can have your main SIM card on one slot and the other one on the second slot. Both of these SIM cards, even when functioning at the same time, are seen to work superbly. The only downside is that you do not get 3G with this phone. This means that the internet might be a bit slow. The phone offers you a choice between polyphonic and MP3 ringtones. Thus you are able to personalize your phone and use the songs you love as your ringtone. Apart from that, the phone has the vibrate alert for those times that you do not need it to have any sound.

You also get to listen to your favourite music through the 3.5 mm jack that is provided. You will be able to store as much music as you need to because this phone offers you the ability to expand the memory of the phone up to 32GB through the use of an external SD card. The phone lets you store up to 1000 of your favourite contacts. That is a lot of numbers for normal use but if you are a business person with a lot of associates, this might not be the phone for you because you may need to store a lot more names. When it comes to the call records, this phone stores about 20 of each: 20 dialled, 20 received and 20 missed calls. Again, if you receive lots of calls, this might still not be the right phone for you.

As noted above, this phone is a 2G phone. This means that you are not going to be getting anything close to blazing internet speeds. With the Celkon i4, you get EDGE and GPRS connectivity. You also get Bluetooth to enable you to share files with those you love. However, you do not get Wi-Fi with this phone. Record videos and take pictures with the 3MP camera that is on-board. Coupled with the 3.5 inch screen that you get with this phone, you are going to view the pictures and videos you take comfortably. Retailing for about INR 3000-4000 (approx., may vary), this phone is suitably priced for what you get.
