BLU is a mobile manufacturing company which was founded in 2009. Its headquarters are located in Dorai, United States. The company has released a dual SIM phone called as Hero in December, 2014. Let's take a look at its specifications.
Design and Display
BLU Hero is a decent phone which is easy to use and handle. The dimension figures include a height of 104mm, width of 57mm and thickness of 13mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 90grams. The phone features a TFT resistive touchscreen of 2.8-inches which provides a resolution of 240x320 pixels and a 143 ppi pixel density.
Hardware and Software
The BLU Hero comes with a RAM of 32 MB and an internal storage of 64 MB which can be expanded further up to 8 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Unfortunately, the device is not powered by any processor instead it runs on Proprietary operating system.
Telephony and Messaging
This dual SIM device operates at frequencies of GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz network. The user can store a limited number of contacts to its phonebook memory. It is featured with SMS, MMS and email as messaging services.
Camera
The BLU Hero comes equipped with a 1.3 MP primary camera which provides a photo resolution of 1280x1024 pixels and is featured with a digital zoom. The device does not has any front-facing camera for clicking selfies and video calling purposes.
Connectivity and Battery
The connectivity options available for this phone are GPRS, Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR, micro USB and hands-free. The WAP or xHTML browser is there to handle the apps and performs searches as well. The BLU Hero is fueled by a Li-ion 950 mAh battery that offers a good talk-time up to 12 hours and standby time up to 600 hours.
