BlackBerry Storm 9530 is a Mini-SIM smartphone released in November 2008. The device comes with basic specifications and it is designed by using a bar format. It is available at a very affordable price tag of Rs. 8,999. The phone packs a 3.15MP camera, 128MB RAM and a TFT screen. It has been offered in only Black color option.

Inside the Storm 9530, resides a 528MHz ARM 11 CPU, Qualcomm MSM7600 chipset and Adreno 130 GPU for processing along with the BlackBerry operating system. It helps you do multiple things easily and fast.

The front of the phone features a 3.25-inches TFT capacitive touchscreen along with a display resolution of 360x480 pixels. The screen flaunts a 65K colors depth and 185ppi pixel density. The dimensions of the phone are measured as 112.5x62.2x14 mm and it weighs at 155 grams.

Camera and Memory

For the shutterbugs, this handset packs a 3.15 MP camera on back with LED flash, image stabilization, geo-tagging and auto-focus features to provide you clear pictures. The highest resolution you can set for the pictures is 2048x1536 pixels. Primary camera can also capture videos of 320 pixels and there is no camera at the front. For the storage, it has a 1GB internal memory which can be further expandable up to 16GB through the microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity features of the phone includes GPRS, EDGE, bluetooth, 3.5mm jack and USB port. It lacks Wi-Fi connectivity which provides fast internet experience. Inside the phone, there is Li-Ion 1400mAh battery which delivers a standby time of up to 360 hours and talk time of up to 5 hours 30 minutes.

Messaging facilities available on the phone are MMS, SMS, IM and Email. The tools like document viewer, BlackBerry maps, organizer, voice memo/dial are also present in the phone.
